Getting a haircut shouldn’t be a meltdown moment.

Join us for Sensory-Friendly Back-to-School Haircut Day on Monday, August 11 at Prairie Grit Therapy. This event is designed for children who experience sensory processing challenges, offering a calm, low-stimulation environment with support from licensed stylists and pediatric therapists.

Each $10 registration includes:

A personalized 20-minute haircut appointment
Access to visual supports, fidgets, and sensory tools
On-site support from occupational and speech therapists
A quiet, welcoming space tailored to your child’s needs

Whether your child has autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, or just struggles with traditional salon settings, this event is designed to help them feel safe, supported, and confident.
