Overview: Come and discover valuable information about IEPs and ARDs, and engage with Speech Therapists (STs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) for transition guidance. Mindcolor's Lead Psychologist will address developmental delays and the support options available. Additionally, M-CHATs will be offered to assist families in evaluating the early signs of autism and to explore further resources.

Set Up: Each provider attending will have a resource booth or table set up, to talk about some of the topics noted above!

Additional Activities: Access to clinic playgorund, sensory activities and art+crafts for children, and a bounce house/slide will be available for children that attend. (One caregiver must stay with child when participating in these actvities). First 30 families get a free coffee from Tom's Coffee Truck. They will be onsite from 10AM-11 AM.

Tickets: Tickets are free! Just need one per family.

Provide more information about IEPs/ARDs. Discuss pre-requisite skills that are good to have when transitioning to school. Talk with a BCBA, OT, and ST regarding tips on how to ease and prepare for transition to school. Review how school, ABA, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy collaborate.

What is the extent of the Diagnostic consult offered?

Our company's psychologist will be present to administer the MCHAT free of charge. From there she will consult on next steps (e.g. Discussing if comprehensive assessment is needed, speaking to pediatrician or neurologist regarding next steps, or other service providers that may be helpful)

What is an MCHAT?

The M-CHAT-R/F is a 2-stage parent-report screening tool to assess likelihood for autism
