About this event

Catholic Charities Journeys Program invites adoptive, foster, guardianship, relative caregiver, and reunified families to join us on Sunday, July 27th at the L.E. Phillips YMCA Sports Center for the second annual Back to School Bash sponsored by Jockey Being Family and Wisconsin Family Connections Center. The space will be exclusively rented from 1:00pm-3:30pm and will feature bouncy houses, face painters, balloons, a live band, community resource tables, emergency response vehicles and more!

Snacks will be provided as well as a fair styled lemonade stand. All children from 4-17 years old (or still in high school) will receive a backpack filled with school supplies. Children 0-3 years old will receive a stuffed animal. All children must be registered to receive these items.

Due to popularity of family events, please let your local WiFCC specialist know ahead of time if there is any reason you can no longer attend or need fewer tickets than you originally signed up for. We would like to accommodate as many families as possible.

If you have any questions about this event, contact Madeline at mcurry@cclse.org.

Cancellations for events must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.

The Wisconsin Family Connections Center (WiFCC) is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. The WiFCC provides support and services to parents and caregivers across the continuum of kinship care, foster care, and post-post permanency, including reunification, guardianship, and adoption. The WiFCC also serves as an excellent resource for professionals serving these families and caregivers.
