Back To Our Roots Workshop
Overview
Join the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society's Youth Conservation Collective for an inspiring and interactive event with Kaleigh Schmidt, Landscape Designer and Owner of Seed to Sage. Together, we’ll explore how our everyday landscapes connect to bigger environmental stories — and how you can be part of the change.
What you’ll learn:
- The history and culture behind residential grass lawns
- How lawns impact conservation and climate change

After the talk, unleash your creativity by designing a postcard for action — your message for a greener Calgary!
