Are you ready to kick off the new school year with a blast? Join us for the 3rd Annual Back 2 School Block Party, hosted by The Hope Community in Sacramento, on August 23rd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at McClatchy Park. This exciting community event aims to connect people of all ages to valuable community resources, while also providing a fun-filled day for the kids!
Event Highlights:
1. Kids Zone Extravaganza: Kids will be thrilled with an array of four inflatable attractions, face painting, and senory activities providing endless entertainment! Additionally, little ones can capture cherished memories with their favorite superhero character photos.
2. Free Haircuts: Get a fresh new look at the start of the school year! We are offering free haircuts for attendees on a first come first served basis, ensuring everyone looks their best for the upcoming academic season.
3. Free Hotdog Lunch: Enjoy a delicious hotdog lunch with all the fixings on us! Savor the flavors while spending quality time with friends, family, and members of the community.
4. Free Food to Take Home: We care about our community's well-being, which is why we're providing thousands bags of groceries and food packages to take home, ensuring that no one goes hungry.
5. Community Resource Vendor Popups: Explore a diverse selection of 20 community resource vendors offering valuable information, services, and support to enhance your life. Including nutritional services and free garden seeds.
