This class is perfect for anyone looking to try bachata for the first time, or those who want to refresh their foundational skills. We understand that learning something new can feel a little intimidating. That’s why our supportive and relaxed environment is specifically designed to make learning bachata basics an absolute blast!

Our friendly instructors will guide you through:

• Basic directional steps: You’ll learn the fundamental movements that form the building blocks of all bachata dancing.
• Proper frame for partner work: Discover how to connect comfortably and effectively with a partner, setting you up for smooth and enjoyable dances.
• Simple turn patterns: We’ll introduce you to easy-to-follow turn patterns that will have you dancing with a partner in no time.

We’ve carefully organized our curriculum to ensure that each movement is easy to grasp and remember, building your confidence with every step. Our goal is to make learning fun. Join us to learn Bachata in Marin.

Important Details

• No dance experience required: Whether you’ve never danced before or it’s been a while, you’re welcome here!
• No partner necessary: Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to dance.
• Please wear non-marking shoe soles: This helps us keep our dance floor in great condition.
