Sponsored by the  Bay Area Council on Gender Diversity (BACGD)  an all volunteer non profit organization that exists  "To provide support, education and advocacy for transgender persons, their families and allies."   The Bay Area Trans Youth Alliance (BATYA) is a sub committee serving trans youth.

Who is invited?

Trans adults, youth, family members, friends and allies.  Anyone and all who are interested in or supportive of transgender persons.

How do you define "trans" persons?

Accepted Answer

Trans is a shortened broad term for transgender persons.  This would include but not be limited to persons who identify as transgender, non-binary, intersex, gender fluid, agender, trans masculine or trans feminine, gender neutral, etc.

What if you aren't interested in bowling?

Non-bowlers are more than welcome. There will be an area set up where you can order food, beverages, meet others and socialize.  There is also a large video arcade area and pool tables. All who come qualify for door prizes.
