Course Title: Baby Basics

Place: This class will take place in Bldg. 2398 (across from Unity Park in Room 1013 which is located on the left hallway within the building.
Description: This hands-on class teaches expectant parents what to anticipate from bonding in the delivery room, to basic infant care, common issues that new parents encounter, and tips regarding safety.
Objectives: Parents will learn how to change a diaper, swaddle a baby, how to safely bathe a baby, and how to bond with baby.
Who Should Attend: The class is open to enrollment for anyone with base access (AD, Civilian, Contractor, dependent etc.) who wants to learning basic strategies for parenting. It is highly recommended for couples in their 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
Prerequisites: Registration for this class is required. There are no walk-registrations allowed. If you do not register, you will not be allowed to attend.
Only 1 of the 2 partners attending the class need to reister.
