Welcome to the BAAM JAAM event! Join us at the Tamper Room Cafe & Gallery for a live music jam, bring your instrument (signup link) and play with other musicians your favorite anime tunes! ALL levels welcome, we will have lead sheets available for anime songs as well!

Can we bring our own music sheets?

Absolutely! We highly encourage you to bring any music you may want to play.

Is there a style we should stick to?

No! We'd prefer to keep it to anime music but if you really want to play a song, please suggest it! The most important thing is to have fun and connect our community together.

Bay Area Anime Music

The Bay Area Anime Music (BAAM) group started as a way for anime bands and musicians to form a network. Concerts and events are few and far between for anime fans outside of the occasional con, so it’s difficult for anime musicians to build up credibility or find venues to perform at. BAAM works to resolve that by setting up our own events and concerts to help build a strong community of anime music fans, and helping connect musicians together for collaboration. Our musicians tend to focus on live instrumental music playing J-Rock and J-Pop, but who knows what the future holds?
