Azesu: Jazz & Latin Rhythms

By Rhythmix Cultural Works

Overview

An intimate evening of jazz and traditional Latin rhythms.

From intricate jazz improvisations to energetic salsa and everything in between — Azesu will play it all! Blending contemporary jazz with traditional Latin rhythms, Azesu will take you across the Caribbean, through South America and back again.

Discover the sounds of lando and festejo from Peru, candombe from Uruguay and Venezuelan merengue.

If you're looking to close your eyes and get lost in the rhythms, or want to get out of your seat and move to the beat — Azesu is for YOU!

Don't miss this unique blend of sounds and cultures performed by some of the finest musicians in the Bay!

Azesu is presented in partnership with InterMusic SF as part of their Listen Local series. Azesu’s newest album recording, Legacy (coming spring 2026), is made possible in part through the Musical Grant Program, administered by InterMusic SF, and supported by the Clarence E.
