As we close out the 2nd Annual Avondalia Art Show Oct 3-4 at Art Colony, gather in community on Sunday, October 5th for a final closing night in the artful community of Avondale.
Featuring the music debut of Bunny Dog, a husband and wife duo that puts fun above all else. Bunny Dog is guitar and voice that delight the soul. In this debut performance, you'll enjoy Teddy Filkin's dreamy guitar textures beneath the breathtaking vocal delivery of Brenda Quetzali as they play from a wide variety of source material.
Featured film screenings by filmmaker, artist and educator Julia Pello. These looped films explore time, our movement through words and across land, inviting us to reflect in the spaces where we all stand together.
As our Avondalia series grows, we welcome you to close out our weekend of multidisciplinary art exploring what is possible when we gather as supportive creative neighbors, peers, and welcomed guests to these NW Side blocks.
