About this event

Food & Drink • Food

We Are Avon are a new bioregional regeneration movement for land and river and Avon Fest is an opportunity to get together and celebrate all we have done so far, and get excited about what's to happen next.

We have some fantastic entertainment lined up for the day, as well as delicious and nutritious local food served up by Loki's Fire Kitchen.

Middle Ground Growers and other local business stalls will form part of an Avon food market and local craftspeople will also have their work available to buy, including some beautiful river-inspired artwork.

Mrs Meg Avon will be hosting a panel with local river campaigners to discuss updates of the rights of our river Avon. Dan Burgess & team from the Spaceship Earth podcast will be recording the conversation to help spread the word to a wider audience on how to inspire action and share what work is already being done, and how we can regenerate our lands and waters together.

There will also be an opportunity for our Avon river guardianship groups to come forward and share what they have already achieved in terms of river restoration, and what they hope to - with your help.

Roseberry Rd Studios are kindly hosting Avon Fest in their beautiful riverside venue.

We hope you can come and support We Are Avon, learn more about river guardianship and feel nourished by everything our wonderful catchment area has to offer.
