💻 Free Live Webinar
Description:
For several years, Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) has utilized the Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) in its annual mortality report. The resulting data provides powerful insight into the preventable causes of death among people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and how proactive health risk identification can save lives.
In this webinar, Dr. Craig Escudé and Daleigh Tallent will review the latest mortality research, discuss what these findings reveal about systemic risks, and share practical ways providers can use HRST data to reduce preventable deaths and improve quality of life for the people they support.
What You’ll Learn:
- Key findings from Georgia’s DBHDD mortality report
- How to use HRST data to identify and address health risks before they escalate
- Practical strategies to strengthen person-centered, proactive support
