Ava’s Place Foundation Kickoff

Ava’s Place Foundation is officially launching as a powerful movement to uplift and empower youth across the DMV and beyond. Rooted in purpose, resilience, and opportunity, the program provides confidence-building, mentorship, support, and real-world pathways for youth navigating hardship, uncertainty, or environments that limit their potential.

This kickoff marks the beginning of a transformative journey that brings together community partners, families, educators, and advocates committed to breaking cycles of violence, creating safer futures, and opening doors for every young person to succeed. From schools to detention centers, group homes, and underserved communities, Ava’s Place Foundation ensures no youth walks alone as we begin in the DMV, expand nationwide, and build a global movement of young people empowered with purpose, voice, and hope.

Charles County natives Carrie Arredondo, Founder & CEO, and Robert Oszajca, Executive Director, are leading this transformation starting in their hometown, expanding throughout the DMV, and next into New Orleans, joined by Remahn Farley, Chief Marketing Officer.
