Explore lighting consoles, DMX control, and lighting fixtures. Build scenes and bring your creative vision to life.
Who It’s For:
- New techs looking to build a solid foundation
- Freelance stagehands wanting hands-on experience
- Anyone curious about how live shows come together behind the scenes
Recommendations and Preferred Prerequisites:
- Previous experience in live events as a stagehand for roughly 3-5 work calls
- Can lift up to 50 lbs. for brief periods of time without assistance
- Likes working and collaborating with a group
- Is comfortable working in short periods or sometimes long periods of darkness
- Can move or crawl in confined spaces for short periods - example: underneath or behind stages to run cabling and other items
Important Notes:
- This event interacts with powered industrial trucks and high reach equipment in a working warehouse environment. Registrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Agenda is subject to change in case of equipment or venue substitutions.
- Attendees are required to complete a waiver before participating in hands-on activites.
