Create TWO wine bottle candles at our Wine Bottle Sip & Pour Candle Making Workshop!
Join us for an evening of wine and hands-on candle making at Wilderness Run Vineyards with Pearlescent Candle Co. Our workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of candle making from our expert instructors AND sip some amazing local wine while doing so. You'll get to make TWO 10-12oz Wine Bottle Candles! You'll get to pick your wax color, blend your own fragrance, decorate the bottle and design a beautiful floral landscape on the top of the candle for BOTH your candles.
Spots for this workshop are very limited. Once it is sold out, no additional seats will be sold.
PLEASE NOTE** Wine bottles are vertical, like on the image. Sizing, color and wine label will vary. You will pick your two bottles upon arrival. All bottle designes are first come, first serve. You may arrive up to 45 minutes early if you'd like to choose first.
Wine and beer are sold separately and not included in the ticket price. We will be in the Vineyard Room in the back of the building, follow the Wine signs! Please do your best to arrive on time.
What's included:
- TWO 10-12oz (bottles are hand-cut, sizing may differ) wine bottles to create your 100% coconut-soy wax candle in.
- The option to dye your wax from available 24+ colors. Your selected color will make your floral landscape even more vibrant!
- Over 20 fragrance options, including new Autumn fragrances! You can also blend fragrances together to make your own personal aroma. You can do each candle a different fragrance or the same for both, it is up to you.
- Stickers to decorate the outside of the bottle. Please note, the bottles WILL have the wine brand label still on them.
- A full array of floral and other botanical options to create a custom landscape on the top of your beautiful new dough bowl candle to make it the perfect centerpiece!
- Guided instruction
Your candle must set and cure for 30-45 minutes (because they'll still be liquid). You'll have the option to wait for your candle to set (drink wine and socialize while you wait) OR to pick up your candle up the next day at the Vineyard or anytime after Thursday evening at our store in Spotsylvania Towne Centre.
During the workshop, you'll discover the secrets of creating your own beautiful and fragrant candles. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned candle enthusiast, our workshops are designed to cater to all skill levels.
At Pearlescent Candle Co, we provide all the necessary materials and tools, so you can dive right into the creative process. You'll learn about different types of wax, wicks, and fragrances, and get hands-on experience pouring and decorating your very own candles.
Important Notes:-Due to how late this event goes, it is a 21+ workshop/event. Minors are not allowed. We offer family friendly workshop options every Saturday at our store in Spotsylvania Towne Centre.-Since we will be handling hot wax, a waiver is required to be signed before you begin your class. Any unsafe or overly drunk behavior will result in being removed from the class. It WILL most likely be hot outside and we will be outside. Please dress appropriately.
