Join us for an exciting and informative morning with Adel Najdowski, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Associate Professor and Director of the M.S. in Behavioral Psychology program at Pepperdine University, and author of Flexible and Focused! Teaching Executive Function Skills to Individuals with Autism and Attention Disorders. Executive function skills include responses required for goal-directed behavior such as working memory, task initiation, sustained attention, inhibition, planning, time management, organization, problem solving, flexibility, and emotional self-regulation. Dr. Adel Najdowski will describe the red flags of executive dysfunction and provide strategies for teaching executive skills to children with autism.
