While Toastmasters is about public speaking, it is much more. According to Top o’ the Rock member, Bob Warren , “Yes, we become better speakers. But we also improve our listening skills, and we learn to provide constructive feedback to others. Toastmasters is also about cultivating leadership skills, and all of this results in personal growth. It’s all done among friends who are members of our club, and we have fun doing it! The experiences we have, and the skills we develop in Toastmasters, help us professionally and personally."

Toastmasters is a world-wide organization dedicated to helping individuals improve their public speaking and leadership skills. Our local group, Top O’ The Rock Toastmasters, meets in San Marco every Wednesday from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church, 1435 Atlantic Blvd. It is open to the public and serves all surrounding areas.
