The author was born in Michigan and lives in Savannah. Her latest book is Amanda— set against the upheaval of post–Great War England, this sweeping novel follows Marion, an Irishwoman scarred by violence, and Jamie, a haunted veteran, as they find refuge—and danger—in each other’s arms. Their love, fierce and consuming, becomes both salvation and risk in a world still reeling from loss.
