Join us for a special evening with award-winning journalist and author Char Adams as she discusses her powerful new book, Black-Owned: The Revolutionary Life of the Black Bookstore.

In this timely and inspiring work, Adams explores the enduring legacy of Black-owned bookstores as sites of resistance, community, and cultural preservation. From the civil rights movement to the present day, Black-Owned highlights how these spaces have fueled activism, amplified Black voices, and shaped generations of readers and thinkers.
