Author Storytime with Pam Vaughan and Jamie Michalak

Authors Pam Vaughan and Jamie Michalak join us for a storytime event! Pam's book, Tenacious Won't Give Up, is a tender, funny, and inspirational picture book for fans of The Magical Yet, and every child who, like Tenacious, might need a little reminder of what it means to persevere. Jamie's picture book, Hazel the Handful, asks the question: what happens when a new baby moves in—and the doted-on “older sibling” is a pampered pooch?

Both authors will read their books, answer questions, and sign copies. Tickets to this event are free, but registration is required as spots are limited. We hope to see you there!

Pam Vaughan is the author of Missy Wants a Mammoth. She lives with her family across from a pond on a cul-de-sac in central Massachusetts. She’s director of Whispering Pines Writers’ Retreat and co-ARA of New England’s SCBWI chapter. When she’s not writing books for kids, she loves coaching ice hockey, which inspired her to write Tenacious Won't Give Up.

Jamie Michalak is the author of the Dakota Crumb books, illustrated by Kelly Murphy; the Frank and Bean books, illustrated by Bob Kolar; the Joe and Sparky series, illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz; and many other acclaimed titles for young readers. She lives in Rhode Island.
