Hometown Writer Shawn Carlow reads from his humorous debut: People of the Titanic: 30 Tales of Extra-Doomed Souls Who Sailed on the Ship of Dreams and speaks with moderator Julie Perkins. This is his first novel!

Raised in Manchester, NH, and a fan of Cat Alley, Shawn Carlow is excited to debut his first novel in his hometown!

He is a writer and producer who has worked for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Deon Cole’s Black Box, among others. He’s written jokes for radio, stage, and various standup comics.

In addition, he does stand-up comedy and has made several award-winning comic short
films that were shown at various live shows and on CBS. He is a University of Notre Dame graduate and has a wife and a cat.
