At UC, she leads social media strategy, using data-driven insights and a deep understanding of her audience to craft campaigns that resonate. Under her leadership, UC’s award-winning social presence has become a vibrant reflection of student life, campus culture, and institutional pride.

About our Speaker
Kelly Bennett is a seasoned social media marketer with nearly 15 years of experience helping higher education institutions build meaningful digital communities. She got her start by creating a position right out of college to launch the social media strategy at her alma mater, Miami University, in 2011. Since then, she has become a recognized thought leader in the field, speaking at national conferences and earning recognition from outlets like Huffington Post, Mashable, and CASE for her creative and impactful work.
In May 2020, Kelly joined the University of Cincinnati. As the Senior Social Media Manager, she leads the university’s social media strategy with a focus on data-driven storytelling and student engagement. Under her leadership, UC’s award-winning social presence has become a vibrant reflection of campus life, institutional pride, and the Bearcat spirit. She is passionate about mentoring students and showcasing the authentic experiences that define the UC community.
Beyond the university, Kelly is an active member of Together Digital, a national network supporting women professionally and personally. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Marketing from Miami University, along with a graduate certificate in Interactive Media Studies and a miniMBA.
A passionate traveler, community builder, and avid pickleball player, Kelly brings curiosity, energy, and a genuine love of connection to everything she does.
