Inspire Hope in the CLE Back to School Prayer Walk
The beginning of the school year is right around the corner. Deuteronomy 31:8 says, "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
We serve a God who is going before our children and surrounding them in protection, love and guidance. Praise God! Let's come alongside the Buckeye Shaker community and cover families and children in prayer as they head back to school.
Event Details:
- Date: August 9th
- Time: 1 - 3 pm
- Location: Meeting at Heights Presbyterian office, 13111 Shaker Square #300 Cleveland, OH 44120 and walking through the Buckeye Shaker neighborhood.
We will walk in groups of 3-4 and pray over specific prayer points centered around the Buckeye Shaker neighborhood, children, families, leadership and as God leads us to pray. We will also pass out "bags of hope" to anyone we encounter with resources and helpful information as well as pray for those in need of prayer.
T-Shirts will be for sale. 100% of proceeds go to support children in our after school program at Harvey Rice Wraparound.
Come as you are, and let’s walk in faith and expectancy that we will see change in our city through the power of prayer!
