Rev up your sewing machines for a heart-warming mission! 🚂❤️When: Saturday, August 31st, 1–3 PMWhere: Studio on 6th

Join us for our NICU Bonding Hearts Sewing Social—no prior machine-sewing experience required! We’ll guide you step-by-step as we stitch 100% cotton flannel hearts that carry a parent’s scent to their tiniest warrior in the NICU.

What to bring if you can (we’ve got extras!):

Your sewing machine (and power cord)
100% cotton flannel fabric (no need to prewash—we’ll launder before delivery!)
Lighter-color scraps are ideal (less dye, easier to launder), but bring whatever’s in your stash—NICU needs them all!
Scissors or pinking shears
Thread & water-soluble fabric pens
Snacks & your favorite drink

The store is open, stations are set, and we’re ready for action! Let’s cut, trace, sew, and snack our way through laughter, friendship, and kindness—filling the room with love and loads of fabric hugs.

I do not know how to sew, Can I come and Watch?

SURE, but better yet lets teach you how to sew, iron, cut, and trace. We have machines to use so you can actually create these bonding hearts yourself.

My kiddos want to help, can they come?

SURE, This is a family and community event. The kiddos can help trace, cut and iron if you are good with that and learn to sew. These hearts come in all shapes and sizes. So YES AND YES

I do not have a machine, Can I come?

YES, We have extra machines to use. This is more about community and coming together and sharing, our space, our tools and our time.
