Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have a story I'm already working on?

A project in-progress is GREAT, but not necessary. You'll still gain great insights into how to adjust your process to accommodate a more holistic approach.

Will there be worksheets?

Yes! As an add-on, PRINTABLE worksheets are available to help guide your writing exercises throughout the workshop.

Will there be homework?

Only if you want to test out your new skills and write a 1-2 page synopsis! Our Outline Assessment is a fantastic follow-up service to this workshop.

If I can't stay the whole time, will this be recorded?

Yes, and you will have access to the recording for one (1) week. It will be a private link, however, so no sharing, please.

Will there be time to ask questions during the workshop?

There will be a little time at the end of the workshop for questions, however you can also email us at info@owlecho.com so you can ask any questions. If, however, you'd like a more thorough review of your OUTLINE or SCRIPT, you can select & schedule a service here: https://calendly.com/owlecho

Will this be all lecture, or will there be time to write?

A bit of both! This workshop is an abbreviated version of the Break My Feature coaching series, so listening, reflecting, and writing is at the heart of this event. If you're interested in 1-on-1 Coaching, drop us an email at info@owlecho.com

Will I be required to have my camera on during the Zoom?

Absolutely not! This is about your writing, so whatever allows you to write best, do that. However, I highly recommend keeping your camera on when networking, asking questions, or generally talking with anyone over Zoom as it helps to build trust. Who knows, you may even meet a friend!
