Please read this entire message carefully, including our disclaimer below.

We are casting non-speaking, movement-based roles for Pain, Transition & Triumph — a powerful live theatrical concert created and led by Christopher LeMark. The performance will take place on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Chicago Theater Works, in honor of World Suicide Prevention Day.

This immersive experience is a choreodrama — a live stage format that combines choreography, storytelling, and emotional expression through physical movement. It is not a traditional play or dance recital. Instead, performers communicate meaning through presence, gestures, rhythm, and mood.

No monologue is required. While this is not a speaking role, movement will be choreographed, blending group staging and guided physical expression to mirror the emotional journey of pain, transition, and triumph. You will be physically expressing emotion through music and mood, using breath, posture, and stillness as storytelling tools.

What to Expect at the Audition:You will participate in a guided movement session in small groups. Wear comfortable clothing and plan to stay 30–45 minutes. No acting experience is required, but emotional openness and body awareness are essential.

What We’re Looking For:We’re looking for emotionally grounded individuals with strong visual presence. This is live art—a communal experience that requires performers who are honest, dependable, and committed to the message of healing through mental health and community.
