The Urban Advocate is excited to introduce our newest initiative, ATLlink!

Many students in Atlanta face challenging circumstances that increase their risk of negative outcomes and Adverse Childhood Experiences, those receiving disciplinary action are at an even higher risk. ATLlink is a personalized entry point connecting students facing disciplinary challenges and their families directly to experts and community partners providing therapeutic, supportive, and restorative services.

This school year (2025-2026) The Urban Advocate is partnering with Atlanta Public Schools to pilot ATLlink to our students. We will be connecting APS students 1) after serious infractions (see APS Student Code of Conduct) resulting in 10+ days of out of school suspension and other serious (tier 3) discipline outcomes and 2) Parents/Guardians seeking support for high risk behavior(s) can voluntarily access ATLlink - no disciplinary infraction required.

We are seeking organizations currently serving youth and families within the City of Atlanta to join ATLink's network as Community Partners willing to receive warm referrals from ATLlink. If your organization's work within City of Atlanta communities aligns closely with our mission, we invite you to join us to learn more about ATLlink, discuss how we can support APS families together, and consider partnering with ATLlink.

We look forward to sharing this exciting journey with you and hope that you can join us!

Please note: if you or your organization are not currently serving the CITY OF ATLANTA, we are unable to accomidate you at this time. This initative is for Atlanta Public Schools students and builds on relationships within our direct community.

If you have previously attended, you are not required to attend additional meetings.
