ASU Portfolio: Introduction and Canvas Integration

ASU Portfolio is an intuitive digital platform that empowers students to document their learning experiences and enables faculty to assess progress and outcomes. This session introduces ASU Portfolio’s latest features, demonstrates how to create assignments in Canvas, and explores the student submission process. Participants will also see how the tool integrates with SpeedGrader and learn best practices for incorporating ASU Portfolio into their courses.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Navigate key features of ASU Portfolio and describe its role in student learning and assessment.
• Create and configure ASU Portfolio assignments within Canvas.
• Guide students through the process of submitting work from ASU Portfolio to Canvas.
• Use SpeedGrader with ASU Portfolio submissions to review, assess, and provide feedback.
• Apply best practices for incorporating ASU Portfolio into course design.

Target Audience: ASU Educators and Designers.

• Participants will attend remotely via Zoom (a link to Zoom room will be emailed the morning of the training).
• An ASU Zoom account will be required to join this session.
