By Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society

Overview

The benefits of integrating science into exploration operations.

Please join the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society for our November 18 general meeting featuring Dr. Darlene Lim, a research scientist at the NASA Ames Research Center, who will discuss the benefits associated with science integration into exploration operations, what processes and technologies support this work, and how various NASA teams have been creating architectures that support incorporating scientific concepts within high-tempo, high-intensity missions. The meeting starts at 7:15 p.m. with a short “What’s Up?” by MDAS member Leary Wong on the Ancient Observatory in Beijing, China. Our meetings are held in the Lindsay Wildlife Experience Community Room, 1931 First Avenue, Walnut Creek, CA 94597
