Overview
Do you communicate with youth in a way that makes them feel supported and heard?
This interactive workshop introduces various communication techniques that help you build more supportive, youth-centered relationships. Participants will learn how to ask more effective questions, to listen actively to youth, and offer youth encouragement rather than praise.
Participants will leave this session with practical skills that can be implemented immediately.

Registration Details
Registration is open for this event until it fills up or until two days before the workshop.
Because of the onteractive nature of the worksop, in the event of low registration it may be cancelled. Advance notice will be provided.
This workshop is limited to 20 participants. We will have a waiting list that we'll use to both fill spots that open up and also help plan our future workshop topic schedule.
Each participant will be provided with a workbook to use during the training and keep and receive a certificate of completion via email afterwards.
Location & Accessibility
This workshop will take place at CoLab18, which is on the main level inside Nova Place at 100 South Commons, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (on the Northside).
There is an entrance to the Nova Place Concourse at the corner of South Commons and Federal Street, across from the Post Office. There is an accessible ramp at this entrance.
If you come by car and park in the garage, there are elevators in the garage.
