Paris Lalicata, Head of Plant Education and Community at The Sill

Since starting as a greenhouse intern in 2018, Paris has grown into a trusted voice within The Sill’s plant-loving community. She has led all of The Sill’s virtual workshops, Instagram Lives, and Virtual Plant Care appointments, sharing her passion and expertise with plant parents everywhere. Paris has also spoken at numerous events on the art and science of plant care. She holds a certification in sustainable gardening from Sussex County Community College in New Jersey, where she is currently completing her associate degree in horticultural science, and maintains an indoor garden of about 200 plants in the northeast.

Paris has hosted over 200 workshops since 2019, diving into everything from pest problems and potting tips to gardening basics and how to spot what your plant needs!
