Do I need to attend in person for both days?

Yes, attendance for both days is required to receive the certificate.

What about meals?

You can bring a lunch, or leave for the 1 hour lunch. There are lots of places to eat in the area. We have access to a fridge and a microwave on site.

How can I prepare for the workshop?

The workshop can be emotionally heavy, so we encourage folks to be as well rested as possible, and comfortable as possible. Please wear clothing that is comfortable for moving around in.

What should I expect from the two days of training?

We will be talking about suicide and hearing about suicide and role playing does occur to help practice the skills learned. You will leave feeling confidence in how to apply suicide intervention skills, and feel more ready, willing and able to respond in a situation involving thoughts of suicide.
