Where is the training located inside of Jackson County HHS?

The training is located upstairs, in the large conference room.

What is the parking situation ?

You may park in the parking garage, passes for parking will be sent out via email prior to the training and will also be available at the door. You can park on the street, however your car will need to be moved every 2 hours to avoid ticketing.

LivingWorks ASIST is a 2-day interactive workshop that will provide you with the skills to intervene with someone who has thoughts of suicide.

You will learn to:

• Develop a safety plan to keep someone safe-for-now and connect them

with further help

• Talk openly about personal and community attitudes and suicide

• Build confidence and capacity in providing suicide first-aid
