For me, that something was boxing.

At first, it was survival, but over time, it became a language of growth, of self-respect, of peace.

Boxing taught me that pain can transform into purpose

that discipline can build the same strength that love restores.

I built Ascend & Defend Academy to share that discovery with the world

a SafeSport-certified space where boxing, mindfulness, and community come together to heal.

Here, we move with intention, we train with effort, we reflect, and we grow.

That’s the rhythm of our academy.

We already have a full team of positive-thinking leaders ready to teach this method

and more than thirty applicants waiting to join.

And one thing I’m most proud of: we train seniors 55 and up completely free.

That’s our community gift — giving strength and connection back to those who’ve given so much already.
