About the Event

What is Saneha?

Saneha is a beautiful Panjabi word that means personally delivering a message on behalf of another.

‘Saneha: Becoming Guru-centered' sessions are for personal and/or community development. Content incorporates the Gurmat framework of bani (wisdom), tavarikh (history), and rahit (lifestyle), as well as other universal principles that resonate with the message of the Sikhi.

Participants are encouraged to ask questions and arrive at answers through collective understanding.

From I-Ness to 1Ness

We live entangled in “I-Ness” — the dualities we create in our thoughts, actions, and communities. This duality seeps into every aspect of life: spiritual and political, personal and public. How can we move beyond it toward “1Ness”?

This interactive workshop explores Guru Nanak Sahib’s Asa Ki Var as a timeless reflection on both inner and societal transformation. Together, we’ll examine its core themes, challenge hypocrisy and hierarchy, and explore ways to embody lasting values that transcend division.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Reflect deeply on the dualities shaping our lives
  • Critically examine social, political, and spiritual hierarchies
  • Learn how to walk the path from “I-Ness” to “1Ness”
