Artists Networking Event for all Creatives! Nov 14, Fri, 7:30 p.m.
Overview
This is a Networking Event for all creatives at Dixon Place Theater cocktail lounge in the Lower East Side, at 161AChrystie Street, NY 10002.
Calling Creatives of all backgrounds and all disciplines to come and network, connect, share your events/projects, explore ideas, learn about other projects and learn how to be involved, and have fun! This is a great opportunity to come together to find ways to collaborate and cross-pollinate.
Dixon Place's bar will be open and each attendee receives one $2 off drink coupon.
"Max 4" is a short performance segment that's presented before we kick off the networking part, where 4 artists present thier work upto 4 minutes each.

What to expect?
The event is divided in 2 sections.
Section 1 - Max4 performance: where we enjoy performances by 4 artists showcasing their crafts for a maximum of 4 minutes each.
SHORT BREAK
Section 2 - Networking: Introduction round. A microphone gets passed around and everyone attending the event gets an opportunity to share about themselves for 1 min or so. By the end of this section everyone knows a little bit about everyone (hopefully). Feel free to take notes. Bring your business cards.
** End of section 2 and you mingle and connect.

Leann Gioia has been a dance performer, educator, and poet in NYC for the past 11 years. She has notably performed her poetry here at Dixon Place and at the Triad Theater. Leann's work draws from personal experiences and passions and simply aims to make her audience feel.

Pianomikeofficial is a pianist known for playing in public spaces, especially at the World Trade Center's Oculus, also works as a special education paraprofessional. He is active on social media where he shares videos of his public piano performances and can be booked for events.
Ms. Black A.K.A Black The Scientist, is a dynamic rapper, singer, and songwriter from New York. Blending hip-hop, soul, and experimental sounds, she creates bold alternative music driven by creativity, innovation, and authenticity—pushing boundaries while inspiring listeners to think, feel, and evolve through her art.
Niusha Karkehabadi (she/they), LMSW is an Iranian American experiential dynamic psychotherapist, author of erotic poetry book—Lick My Rainbow, multidisciplinary performance artist, pleasure activist, and yoga instructor with over a decade of teaching experience. Additionally, she holds a BFA in dance, a background in wellness with an array of somatic based certifications (yoga, NASM, Reiki, etc.) and experience working with a range of populations from those in detention centers, intensive outpatient treatment centers, and assisted living centers. Their work is relational and exemplifies liberation represented through sensation as a means to allow our range of emotions to exist as they come. She aims to create space to shift how micro and macro collectives permit us to exist safely as ourselves.
