Please join us for a special book talk by Joanna Woronkowicz, a cultural economist and Associate Professor at Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She is currently a visiting scholar at Copenhagen Business School. Prior to academics, Joanna served as the senior research officer at the National Endowment for the Arts. Her research explores artist labor markets, cultural infrastructure investments, and the role of technology in creative work. She is co-founder and faculty director of the Center for Cultural Affairs and co-director of the Arts, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Lab. She is the author of Building Better Arts Facilities (Routledge, 2015), co-editor of Cultural Entrepreneurship (Now Publishers, 2025), and co-editor of Innovating Institutions and Inequities in the Arts (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024).
