This Artist Workshop is presented by Metro Art staff to inform artists about the new public art opportunities and how to apply. Three in-person workshops will be offered in different locations in the East San Fernando Valley area. All the workshops will have the same program and are free and open to all.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) is inviting visual artists based in Los Angeles County to submit qualifications for opportunities to design two-dimensional (2D) artworks for future stations along the East San Fernando Valley (ESFV) Transit Project and the G Line Improvements Project, both serving the East San Fernando Valley.

The ESFV Project will include 11 new light rail stations. The G Line Improvements Project will upgrade the existing G Line and include one new aerial station to replace the at-grade Van Nuys Station, which will intersect with the ESFV Project There are 12 total artwork opportunities.
