Join artist Michael James for an engaging walkthrough of his solo exhibition, Hands That Feed Us, followed by a Frida Kahlo–inspired painting workshop led by the artist himself.
On view at MOAH:CEDAR, Hands That Feed Us highlights the critical yet often overlooked labor of migrant farm workers in the United States. Through his vivid and expressive style of Chromatic Stylized Realism, James celebrates the resilience and humanity of those whose work sustains the nation.
During this special event, participants will:
- Tour the exhibition with the artist
- Create a painting inspired by Frida Kahlo, exploring themes of identity, labor, and self-expression
All materials will be provided. No prior art experience necessary.
