About this event
Join Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art patrons and friends for an intimate discussion with Makayla Winter on her creative journey, the driving force behind her art, and the story of how her current exhibition at Elder Gallery, Who Are Your People, came to be.
Constantly exploring and unafraid of the answers she may find, Makayla Binter is an artist who defines her voice and her point of view in every project she undertakes. In her first exhibition with Elder Gallery of Contemporary Art, Binter dives into community and investigates how we create systems of support, who we seek out as peers and mentors, and what it means to find your people.
