Part two of our artist development workshop intends to help creatives build on their resume with a unique artist bio or statement paired with professional artsist headshots.
This event offers a workshop to refine unique artist bios and a 15 minute professional photography session where artists will receive 5-7 *edited* professional headshots at Station 3510 from 10am-8pm on Friday, August 8th.

ABOUT THE HOSTS
Kiara Danae Mangum (@_kiaradanae) is a filmmaker, curator and founder of Rooted Visions Productions, based in Maryland by way of North Carolina. Their work reflects the intimacies of the black southern experience, the construction of identity, spirituality and the complexities of the family dynamic through ancestral stories that long to be unearthed.
Jalisa Ifadunni (@nusiwapil) is a Black Nawat writer, educator, filmmaker, historian, and birthworker. They are deeply informed by their ancestors, the ocean, the land, and Black queer feminist tradition and aim to be a mouthpiece for that in their practice. Their work investigates death, liminal spaces, liberation, and love while centering Indigenous perspectives.

Station 3510 is an art hub for "creative workshops, classes, and other creative community-based activities that are hosted and taught by local artists currently practicing in their craft."
