About this event

Using die-cut components, we will create unique posable figures. They could be a personality from history, yourself or a loved one. In this three hour class, each student will assemble a figure and then design and create clothing and accessories from paper and/or fabric. Participants will be able to shop my extensive studio collection for embellishments and mixed media components to complement their figure. Choose from boxes of buttons, ribbons, lace, charms, premium paper, vintage scrapbooks, etc. Participants may use the provided die-cut heads or cut and illustrate their own unique visage.



Frequently asked questions

I can not attend, what is your refund policy?

You can transfer your ticket to another class or gift it to a friend. There are no refunds, however your credit is good for another class, private lessons or down payment on a piece of artwork.

I don't have much experience with art, can I still attend?

These workshops are designed to teach skills and encourage creativity. You will find the creative decision making and problem solving process to be inspiring and invigorating. I believe in meeting an individual where they are and supporting them towards their own success.

Are the workshops accessible?

The Art Emergency studios are on the ground floor with no stairs to access the door. If you have mobility issues, reach out to me ahead of time and I will endeavor to reserve a parking space next to the entrance.

Paper and Friends!

Intimate artist studio classes with a paper focus.

Join me in experiencing paper joy as we build skills, knowledge and friendships. Each class will focus on a particular art form centered on paper and adjacent mixed media materials. Classes are 3+ hours long and cap at 8 people. All supplies are provided from my extensive visual resources library.
