Arthur Kill Road Cleanup

Arthur Kill Road Cleanup

By NYC H2O

Overview

Join NYC H2O for a volunteer cleanup on Arthur Kill Road in Staten Island!

Join NYC H2O, Natural Resources Protective Association, City Councilman Frank Morano, and DSNY for a cleanup along Arthur Kill Road!

As one of the lengthiest roads in Staten Island, Arthur Kill Rd intersects with multiple historical landmarks. The road is parallel to its namesake waterway Arthur Kill. Arthur Kill is a tidal strait within the New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary.

The cleanup will run from 10 AM to 12 PM. We will meet at the intersection of Johnson Street and Arthur Kill Road in Staten Island. We will clean in both directions, with some working towards Clay Pit Road and some working towards the Industrial Loop W. Gloves, garbage bags, and pickers will be provided.

Thanks to City Councilman Frank Morano for his generous support of NYC H2O's environmental stewardship programs.
