Do you find yourself craving a space to explore your creativity and deepen your mindfulness practice? Join us for a transformative two and a half hour class inspired by Gunilla Norris' book, "Match," encouraging us to ignite our hearts and align our wills.

In this unique class, we will blend the power of art making and mindfulness to unlock your creative potential and cultivate a deeper connection with yourself.

Class Breakdown:

Introduction to Mindfulness and Art - We'll start with a brief overview of mindfulness techniques and how they can enhance creativity. We'll also explore different art materials and their expressive potential.

Meditation and Creative Expression - We'll dive into a guided meditation session to ground ourselves and connect with our inner creative spark. Following the meditation, we'll engage in an art project designed to encourage self-expression and reflection.

What are we making? - Each participant will decorate the outside of their own large box of matches. This serves as a visual reminder of their personal spark. The practice of lighting a match every day will be continued long after the class is over, cultivating minfulness and connection. You are welcome to bring images or photos that have meaning, but we will also provide all materials for the art-making expeerience.

Sharing and Reflection - We'll come together as a group to share our experiences and insights from the meditation and art activity.

Light refreshments will be provided.
