About The FOIA Bakery:
The FOIA Bakery conducts research on issues that affect Chicagoans. Our research methods include public information requests, interviews, and archival research which we use in concert with our communities to increase autonomy and self-determination. Some of our recent work includes working to prevent the construction of a GardaWorld detention camp in Chicago, working to ensure students with disabilities receive transportation to school, and showing the interlocking ways our local agencies work to create systems of enclosure.
About Artists for Chicago:
Artists for Chicago was originally a moniker created to protect those who wanted to speak out against abuse occurring in the City of Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in the Spring of 2025. Since that time, it has become a platform for artists across Chicago to come together, build collective power, and advocate collectively.
Public Transportation:
Impact House is closely situated near the Washington Blue Line stop, the Washington & Wells Brown, Pink, Purple, and Orange line stops, the Ogilvie Transportation Center, Divvy stations, and more.
