About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

Our intensive program prepares artists for college, AP Art, or professional opportunities. FREE for Genesee County residents.

Participants will engage in structured 2D & 3D projects with personalized instruction to build their portfolios. The program also includes weekend open studio hours for pariticipants to complete work at their own pace, culminating in a final exhibition at the end of the program.

Program Structure:

  • Week 1: Drawing
  • Week 2: Painting
  • Week 3: Pottery & Sculpture
  • Week 4: Printmaking, Design, 2D Projects
  • Week 5: Personal Voice
  • Week 6: Personal Voice Continued
  • Week 7: Final Critique
  • Week 8: Exhibition Week

Participants are encouraged to attend all 8 weeks, but may also attend individual program weeks based on interest.
