Artists will talk about their art work installed along the KC Streetcar route. We will ride the streetcar and walk to the various locations.

This guided art tour will begin at a location TBD. (Participants will be emailed the starting location once finalized!) We will ride the KC Streetcar and visit streetcar stops and other locations featuring artwork from:

  • Adrianne Clayton, Reflection, on the Library Southbound KC Streetcar Shelter, 9th & Main
  • David Morris, Music is Community, on the Kauffman Center Southbound KC Streetcar Shelter, 16th & Main
  • Edwing Mendez, Woven for the Cosmos, on the ARTwall at 13th & Grand
  • MacKenzie Fulmer, Newcomer, on the Metro Center Northbound KC Streetcar Shelter, 12th & Main
  • Max Dlabick, Interplanetary Joyride, on KC Streetcar Vehicle
  • Miranda Clark, Jewel, on the Crossroads Southbound KC Streetcar Shelter, 19th & Main
  • Miranda Pietzsch, Under Our Feet, on the Palace Building adjacent to Oppenstein Park, 12th & Walnut
  • Taylor Fourt, Kansas City Grows Up, on the River Market West KC Streetcar Shelter, 4th & Delaware

Each artist will discuss their artwork at their respective locations. This event is free and open to the public; however, we do ask that you RSVP for planning purposes.

Details:

  • The KC Streetcar is a free and accessible option for getting to and from Art in the Loop events. Please consider utilizing this option for your traveling needs.
  • Additional parking options include the City Market area and riding the KC Streetcar from the starting location. Click here to learn about parking at the City Market.
  • This event encompasses a total of 2.2 miles of travel that will include walking and riding KC Streetcar; please wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle.
