About the organizer
The Council of 101 was founded in 1965 to financially support the Orlando Museum of Art and to encourage the cultural development and education of the visual arts in Central Florida.
This outstanding group of dedicated volunteers is committed to the Museum through its service and leadership as seen in the number of hours expended, its financial obligations pledged and the skills shared in its three major annual projects which includes the Festival of Trees.
The Council of 101, since its inception, has contributed in excess of $13 million toward the acquisition of art, financial support of exhibitions, facility renovation and Museum expansion programs.
