ART GUARANTEED consists of TWO days of events, both at Epiphany Center for the Arts:

Friday, July 14th - 7:00 pm - Dr. Eve L. Ewing on stage to launch her groundbreaking new podcast, "GUARANTEED."

Saturday, July 15th - 1:00pm-5:00pm - Art Guaranteed: An art showcase featuring up and coming artists in our Power of Cash Narrative Change Fellowship. Kids and families are welcome to join us for free food, games, and fun!

About the Power of Cash Fellowship:

The Power of Cash Narrative Change Fellowship is a larger effort to reshape the narrative around direct cash solutions and promote economic justice initiated by Economic Security for Illinois, an affiliate of Economic Security Project. We set out with a goal to partner with artists to replace harmful narratives about “deservedness,” inequality and poverty — the myths that keep policymakers from giving people the direct cash support they need to survive and thrive — with stories of dignity, self-determination, and justice. By directly investing in artists’ capacity for creative expression, the fellowship aims to change the cultural conversation around cash and guaranteed income as public policy.

All together, the festival of events will feature different artistic projects being funded in Chicago, a city driving the movement toward cash solutions, and home to over one fifth of the country’s guaranteed income recipients.

“Power of Cash” fellowship artists include: Damon A. Williams and Daniel Kisslinger (AirGo), Audio/Podcast, Anwulika Anigbo, Photography, Matt Muse, Music, Fantasia Graham, Paint/Portraits, Jade Williams, Prints/Collages, Sean Sankalp Raju, Documentary Film, David Johnson, Video. Our Creator in Residence is Dr. Eve L. Ewing.
